Spectrum Healthcare Training Center is a "front line medical Career Training school." We train students for various entry-level medical career positions such as Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding, Phlebotomy Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Medication Administration Program (MAP), and CPR. All our courses are short term certificate programs, ranging from a few weeks to less than one year.

INSURANCE
All students must carry their own professional insurance through out the duration of the training.

DURATION OF THE PROGRAM
The duration of each program varies. Prospective students are encouraged to refer to specific program for the length of time expected for that program.

 

ADMISSION
All persons seeking admission to Spectrum Healthcare Training Center must have earned a high school diploma, GED, or its equivalent. In addition to this requirement, all prospective students must fill out an application form and pass a common entrance examination. Applicant must submit a physical examination report with evidence that the following immunizations and tests have been met as attested by their physician.

  • HB 2
  • One MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
  • Tetanus vaccine that is less than 10 years old
  • TB skin test or chest X ray. This must be less than 12 months old
  • Confirmation of varicella (chicken pox) immunity
